About

Gail Ashton is a writer and editor of poetry, prose and creative non-fiction based in rural Herefordshire. She has been telling stories her whole life. Her passions are the natural world, animals, place and the things we say to each other to make sense of ourselves. She is widely published - creative work with Cinnamon Press and Indigo Dreams, and academic books with Bloomsbury, Macmillan and Routledge.

Once, she was a university lecturer in medieval and contemporary literature. These days she likes to watch weather come in and walk woods and fields with her dog. She also loves tea and cake and talking for hours with family and friends.
